The Tax Office have released an app for employees called myDeductions to assist taxpayers to keep track of and record receipts for expenses paid during the year. Details of the expense may be manully entered into the app along with a photo of the receipt. The app also provides a tool to keep track of kilometres travelled on work and a logbook calculation. We still recommend that paper receipts are retained as a backup.
